“Chance is a 12 year old registered paint horse. He is a proven upper level cowboy mounted shooting horse. Chance was diagnosed at first with torn muscles in his left shoulder. we sent him to a rehab facility for a month. After 30 days of swimming and therapy a second vet diagnosed him with “Sweeney Shoulder” this is nerve damage in the shoulder caused by a blunt force trauma. The damage to the nerves causes the muscle in the shoulder to atrophy. As you can see in the pics. All muscle tone was melted away and scapula (shoulder blade) is clearly visible. The vet told us it was a waiting game for “if” the nerves would heal and regenerate. His prognosis wasn’t good. If he came back he told us it could take up to a year “IF.” Surgery was another option but high cost and the strong possibility of it not being successful kept us from that. The EquiVibe was recommended by our vet. We purchased the EquiVibe in June. We have tried to put him on the EquiVibe for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes i the evening. So he’s been on it an average of 6 hours a week. As our busy schedule permits. We started him on it the second week in June. The first pic is what his shoulder looked like. The second pic was taken the second week in August after 2 months. Shows a lot of improvement!! After another 3 months, second week of November, 5 months almost to the day he was released to run again. The EquiVibe kept the rest of his body conditioned and in shape while promoting healing and building the shoulder back up. We have a ways to go but will be back to 100% before spring. We’re amazed at the results with Chance and have started our other horses on the EquiVibe too! We really believe without the EquiVibe he wouldn’t have made such a speedy recovery, it was the only therapy we did on him. We strongly recommend and love our EquiVibe.”
