“These two Arabian geldings are poster boys for the EquiVibe. The bay gelding bowed a tendon at our facility in November 2013. The injury was complicated by previous injuries to the same leg. After an exam and ultrasound the vet recommended at least six months of stall rest with supportive care, then several months of hand walking with the possibility of returning to riding in a year. The horse was put on a daily regimen of 15 minutes on the EquiVibe followed by 15 minutes of hand walking. After ninety days a follow up ultrasound was performed and the vet declared that the injury was healed. She then gave a recommendation of a gradual increase in exercise and then light riding. By May he was cantering under saddle and the first week of June 2014 he attended a show where he won several classes and was Reserve Champion in the Arabian Hunter Pleasure AAOTR Championship. He continued to show for the balance of the summer winning many classes and multiple Regional Championships. He continues to be sound and only had the initial ninety days on the EquiVibe.”
